Masterplan Limited is a member of the Harbour Business Forum and is part of its Best Practice Committee.
Masterplan Limited prepared a report on the West Kowloon Waterfront Connectivity together with a proposed elevated connection between Yau Ma Tei and Tai Kok Tsui in 2017. This is following on Harbour Business Forum’s Harbour Connectivity Study 2008, which identified the West Kowloon Waterfront link as an important gap that needs to be filled, and was discussed by the Sub-Committee on Harbour Plan Review of Harbour-front Enhancement Committee. While other links in the Study have been taken forward, no action has been taken by Government to implement this link.
Masterplan Limited prepared a report, with the technical assistance of other members of the Harbour Business Forum, and presented to the Harbourfront Commission Kowloon Task Force at its meeting in March 2018. The report discusses broad issues on West Kowloon Waterfront Connectivity, and outlines the possible elevated connection between Yau Ma Tei and Tai Kok Tsui.
